Intelepciuni de la Winnie the Pooh

Eu am crescut in era before-Disney, asa ca habar n-aveam cine e acest Winnie the Pooh.

Ei bine, google m-a luminat si mi-a spus cum ca Winnie a fost si foarte intelept. For instance:

  • “You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”
  • “If the person you are talking to doesn't appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear.”
  • “Don't underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering.” This is one thing I never ever never underestimate! ;)
  • “Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon” (din pacate eu stiu cativa oameni care cred ca baloanele sunt niste prostii...)
  • “"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best -- " and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called”. Asteptarea. A-ti imagina cum va fi cand. Mierea plus dorinta. I like this bear :)
  • It gets you nowhere if the other person's tail is only just in sight for the second half of the conversation.
  • "It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like 'What about lunch?' "
  • "Some people care too much. I think it's called love." (and here is where I melted :) )
  • "If there ever comes a day when we can't be together keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever"
  • "You can't help respecting anybody who can spell TUESDAY, even if he doesn't spell it right; but spelling isn't everything. There are days when spelling Tuesday simply doesn't count."

Winnie won me :P

Not special.

Da, frumoasa tipa :)

Mulțumesc! :) Mi-au plăcut foarte mult, în special: "Some people care too much. I think it's called love."

Gloria, but of course :) Stilourile rule.

You're right, nu intelegem prea multe "lectii" cand suntem mici, cel putin nu ceea ce intelegem cand crestem.

Oh, absolutely lovely :) Hunny time, as Pooh would say.

Funny, I only just saw a paper bag for gifts that said the exact same thing, "hunny time" :) Have to read the damned books :)
